James Wake has been a fully qualified class AA PGA Professional since September 2011. He joined Easingwold Golf Club in March 2019, having spent the previous 5 years or so as Head Professional at Forest of Galtres Golf Club. Between 2007 and 2012, James was Head Assistant Pro at Fulford Golf Club before moving to Heworth Golf Club as the Head Professional.
James is qualified and experienced in the use of multiple digital coaching software so that clients get the best possible training available. James coaches all age groups and is keen to promote the game to ladies and gentlemen as well as juniors. As a coach James has achieved NSPCC incentives ‘keeping Children Safe in Sport’, is a qualified First Aider and is DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked.
Golfing achievements:
* Junior Captain at Fulford Golf Club winning three JCC titles.
* Captain of the the York Union Team.
* Successful execution of an English Golf Foundation Scheme.
* Regular attendance on the North and Yorkshire PGA
* Third Place at the Foremost Assistant Championship (2012)
Coaching qualifications:
* PGA Degree (Business and Golf Coaching).
* UKCC Level 1 and 2 in Golf Coaching.
* Class AAT member of the PGA and PGA Level 3 coach

Shop Opening: Hours, from 1st June, will be 8am - 5pm Mondays to Saturdays and 8am - 4pm on Sundays. These hours will be extended accordingly to accommodate club competitions, visiting parties, inter-club matches, etc.
